Traditional Easter Celebration – 2018

Today we are pleased to show you photos from Holy Easter 2018, which took place in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Like last year, Father Augustine Zenzel SDB offered the whole of the Easter Triduum in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite, for which we are very grateful.

Maundy Thursday

In the Cathedral, the Easter Triduum was fully served in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite for the second time since the return of the Church to the Catholics.

Good Friday

This year, compared to the previous one, on Holy Saturday, Father Augustine consecrated a new fire on the street in front of the temple and consecrated the Easter water. For Easter we have prepared a new golden ornate, in which Father Augustine served the Mass on Saturday and Sunday.

Holy Saturday

We thank you for the prayerful support of our work and we hope that in 2019 we will be able to celebrate the Holy Easter Event in the traditional rite.
